Natasha makes her way into the Trill and she looks around briefly before heading off to the bar. She orders a beer and just watches the other people coming and going from the bar.

<CoraAnn> sighs as she walks into the Trill, giving just a look over the room before also heading to the bar and taking up the seat by Natasha. “You… you seen Cass?”

Natasha looks over at Cora, then around the bar. “Nope, why, was he looking for me?”

<CoraAnn> chuckles a little and shakes her head. “No… I was just looking for him and thought you might have.”

Natasha shrugs her shoulders. “Nuh-uh. I think he’s been at the house but uh… I’ve been good so as not to warrant a talking-to.”

<CoraAnn> nearly snorts, “He’d probably find it funny. Then again, maybe not, since he’s supposed to be in charge and all.”

Natasha nods in agreement. “True, on both accounts. Pretty sure if it didn’t make him look bad specifically he’d find it funny.”

■► Cassian ◄■ swings open the door to the trill and it closes softly behind him as he strolls in, catching the door with his fingers to slow its potential slam as he glances around and continues at his pace. He’d glance around a moment.

<CoraAnn> glances back and upon seeing Cassian, waves him over. “Hey! You okay?”, she asks, failing to hide the concern in her voice.

■► Cassian ◄■ looks over to Cora as she waves to him, getting his attention. He walks over and would nod to her, noting the concern in her voice. “Oh, yes, I am alright. How are you?” He’d turn to waggle his fingers at Natasha. “Greetings to you too. So far I haven’t heard of any mischief you’ve done. Sneaky.”

Natasha grins over at him. “You say that like you are sure that I -have- been up to some and just not been caught.”

<CoraAnn> looks to Cassian. “Did you get my message?”, she glances over at Natasha and chuckles.

■► Cassian ◄■ looks off a moment, thoughtful expression…and then he shakes his head. “No, I do not think I have. What is the message?”

■► Cassian ◄■ leers at Natasha and smirks with amusement. He says…nothing.

<CoraAnn> frowns and sighs, taking a quick look around. “I don’t know what the heck happened, but Samson may have it in for any Tremere he can get ahold of. He thinks you were snatching up people off the streets to experiment on them.”

Natasha shakes her head and looks over at Cora. “Well I sure as hell didn’t do that. Not my style.”

■► Cassian ◄■ lofts a brow curiously as Cora lets him in on something he has not even done wrong or pondered even doing yet. “Oh, really? What is his proof to this allegation?”

<CoraAnn> shakes her head softly. “I don’t know but they wouldn’t be so riled up over nothing. It’s not just Samson, a lot of them are positive that the Tremere were involved in some sort of attack against them.”

Natasha listens, growing slightly more concerned herself. “That doesn’t sound good…”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Oh…well, maybe you can help me out some and tell me where they are around since I stayed out of their affairs before at the request or order of Lynn but now they’ve gone and changed the rules somehow and I think the Tremere might need to do a little talking with the anarchs. It would be most appreciated.” He gives her a look of waiting

for some info to be forthcoming.

<CoraAnn> looks him over, but finally nods. “Not sure where their base is anymore but I know the general area.”

Natasha frowns. “By that you don’t mean starting shit with a bunch of Brujah, right?”

■► Cassian ◄■ nods to Natasha. “I will talk to Zane, but yes, if the Anarchs want to play with the Tremere, I see no reason why to show them why people don’t like to play with the Tremere usually. It seems some have either never gotten this lesson or they’ve forgotten. I’d also like to hear what happened, of course. Something did, clearly, because no Tremere

here is so foolish to do something like this out of the blue.” He’d draw his attention back to Cora. “Will you give me this ‘general area’ so that I may inquire as to what happened and then decide the next course of action?”

<CoraAnn> watches Cassian for a moment longer, then nods slowly. “Uhm, sure. Be careful… there was talk about some weapon… could just be them puffing up but you never know. I had heard rumors they had something they planned to use on the Setites so they might actually have something.”

Natasha just listens, focusing on Cassian, then Cora and remaining silent.

■► Cassian ◄■ “Well, I’m guessing part of their stuff is explosives since they were aiming on blowing up the Charity Hospital. Maybe with some effort we can figure out whatever else it is they are holding as an offensive defense.”

Natasha nods her head. “Whatever you need. I do actually kinda blend in and can pass for a Ravnos.”

<CoraAnn> sighs but nods. “Maybe. I’d just be worried about the crossfire, and the Masq in the process if they start tearing shit up.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “If I get all the information I require, there won’t be a ‘tearing up’ by the anarchs after we are done with them. I will of course try to make things end peacefully, but if not, they will be dealt with swiftly and retaliation will not be an option.” He’d look at Natasha. “You probably could and someone else could probably convince them

you are. She rather owes me.”

Natasha grins. “They don’t have to know the stuff I conjure isn’t an illusion.”

<CoraAnn> grabs Natasha’s beer and takes a drink. “Yeah. Well, be carful. I’ll help however I can.”

■► Cassian ◄■ smirks approvingly. “Excellent. I will talk to this other person and see if she and/or Zane can get you in so you can see what they actually have and get us some details for attack.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “If you want to go with us when we strike, if we must, then sure, Cora.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Same with Zane. If the anarchs want to remain, they will understand they can’t strike at us.”

<CoraAnn> nods. “Well, the ones that stick with Zane are usually pretty chill. Probably where he is, out trying to talk sense into them.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “I’ll talk to Zane then about it. Maybe we just need to pluck out the leader and his closest followers and then the other Anarchs will fix themselves.”

Natasha listens between them again and then nods, eyeing Cora as she gets her beer stolen.

<CoraAnn> looks thoughtful on that, and nods. “Maybe… Samson does rile them up considerably.”

■► Cassian ◄■ nods then. “Right then. I’ll catch Zane hopefully sometime this week. Meanwhile…” He looks at Natasha, “There will be orders for the Tremere to be aware of what is going on and we’ll work out what else needs to happen. Brandon can investigate from his end too and likely be able to help keep an unknown eye on you while you do your

thing.”

Izzy instructs Blue to stay outside and keep low. He barks his displeasure but does as he is told. Taking a deep breath, Izzy steels herself and walks into the bar. After a few passes with her eyes she finds a seat at the bar and sits.

<CoraAnn> takes note of Izzy again, tilting her head and then looking back to Cassian. “That one over there is an out of towner, might be able to assist since no one has seen her around before.”

■► Cassian ◄■ glances over at Izzy, looking her over. “I do not know anything about her or what she is.”

Natasha looks over and her eyes dilate as she watches her a moment. “Well, if i had to guess, I’d say that’s an Anarch.”

Izzy tries to get the bartender’s attention. After two failed attempts, she finally just talks at him “oi, I’m talking to you” her cockney accent getting thicker through her frustration. Her anxiety of all the people in here adding an edge to her voice. “I’m lookin for Zane, it’s important. Could you point me the way, please” the please added as an after thought since she was trying not to make a scene

Erik, a rather burly, viking-looking guy looks over at Izzy and scowls. “One more Oi outta you and it’ll be the only sound you make for a while. You hear? Zane ain’t here, but I’ll let him know you’re looking for him. Assuming you tell me who the hell you are.”

<CoraAnn> shrugs faintly. “She followed me down an alley the other night. She’s looking for her ‘boss’, and she says he came here from Chicago. Which, does seem to favor the anarch theory.”

Izzy bites back a rude remark. Instead “I am Izzy. I’m looking for Boss and a girl named Cora said Zane might be able to help me” she sorely missed Blue. He always knew how to calm her, maybe because he was a dog.

■► Cassian ◄■ watches the girl and nods slowly to Cora. He’d then glance over at Izzy. Her voice was annoying. Another cockney with an over-exaggerated blistering ear accent, but it wasn’t something he was unused to, having come over from Europe recently. Most British tried to get away from associating with the accent but here it was in full glory, in New Orleans.

She seemed to be somewhat nervous as well. He’d get over his annoyance at her awful, in his opinion, accent and speak to her. “Izzy, Zane is not here but perhaps some others of us may be able to assist you as we are familiar with things around here. You are welcome to our table.”

Natasha gets up, nodding to Cassian. “I should head back. Do you want me to tell the others, or wait for you?”

■► Cassian ◄■ “You can tell them and I’ll be back later to fill in what we need to do. They know on their own what to get started with, most likely.”

Erik looks back at Izzy, but then as Cassian speaks he lets those guys handle it.

■► Cassian ◄■ looks over at Erik. “When Zane is reachable, in any manner, please have him contact me. I know he’s busy and it might be a good idea to have him reach out instead of me doing so.”

Natasha nods. “Will do. See you soon.”, she waves to Cora, then nods her head respectfully to Cassian before heading out through the heavy front door.

Izzy slowly stands and walks over to the table. “thanks, and I’m sorry for all the fuss, things have been tough the last few days” Izzy looks at the others in turn, taking in their features. Boss taught her that, always know who you’re with, take no chances. ” looking for Boss. I don’t think I ever knew his real name or that he even had one. He took me in when no else would and we’ve been partners ever since. He stands about so

high “she holds her hand above her five foot four inch frame, making the target about six feet” he has black hair and blue eyes. Looks like he’s about 30 maybe and he wears a long black coat, always. ”

<CoraAnn> makes a bit of a face. “That… sounds like Patrick. Boss happen to be a Gangrel?”

■► Cassian ◄■ bows his head to Natasha in return and then turns his attention to Izzy as she approaches. “I am not sure who ‘Boss’ is but Cora could be right, by the description. Why has it been a tough few days? What has happened?”

Izzy nods “yes he is. My sire left me and never came back. Boss took me in then an taught me how to be a gangrel”

<CoraAnn> blinks a bit at that, and takes another drink of beer. “He have a boss maybe or a friend that was a blonde cowgirl back in Chicago?”

“as to what has happened,” Izzy pauses collecting her thoughts “boss left Chicago for a job. He said if he wasn’t back in should meet him in New Orleans at a motel we used before. The motel is gone now. We searched, but Blue can’t find his scent anywhere”

Erik nods to Cassian. “I’ll make sure he knows when he comes back in the morning. You can expect to hear from him tomorrow.”

“I don’t know, he had many contacts that he kept me away from. To protect me he said” Izzy’s smile fades, she looks down at her hands

■► Cassian ◄■ takes the glass of beer Cora had, that now has barely anything in it and puts his hands on either side and twirls it around for some amusement, listening. “Chicago again. Intriguing. “Is Blue another Gangrel in the area? It can be kind of a practice occasionally that some Gangrel will leave their offspring to fend for themselves at first,

though usually they return after a time.” He’d glance over to Erik and wave a hand, acknowledging his words. “Thank you, Erik.”

Izzy laughs “Blue is my dog, he’s only a Gangrel in his heart. Loyal creatures dogs. He’s outside. ” Izzy glances to the door.

<CoraAnn> nods, kind of understanding. “My mentor was a Gangrel. Old man, Winter. I can relate. Patrick was working for Lynn. I or Cass here can talk to her.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Ah, I see.”

Izzy sighs “so I guess it more waiting… I… I’ve never been alone this long before, except at the beginning… Do you think, he’s testing me? Or what if he’s in real trouble?” Izzy seems to be talking mainly to herself. Her anxiety of being inside a crowded place also make her feel more vulnerable and worried about Boss.

<CoraAnn> tilts her head as she studies Izzy. “It’s kinda complicated but I think you should just chill. He was working on some important stuff.”

■► Cassian ◄■ stops spinning the glass and looks at Izzy. “I suppose we can ask to see if Patrick’s whereabouts are known and you should probably stay low and around while you wait for said info. Lynn hopefully knows his last location. Meanwhile, have you reported in to the city and all that? By the way…welcome, as you are new. I am Cassian.” *he’d

offer a hand to shake across the table.

“I know that, he said that” Izzy sighs again “I need to be outside, it’s a bit stifling in here and Blue probably needs to eat. I don’t have a phone or place to stay, but I’ll check in here every evening, that’s all I can do” Izzy stands, readying to leave.

Izzy shakes hands, “no I haven’t made myself known. Boss usually takes care of all that. I wouldn’t know where to start”

■► Cassian ◄■ shakes her hand and then casually withdraws to lean back. “Well, one of us will get back to you soon on it so come around here tomorrow and we’ll have an answer likely, but ‘Boss’ should have taught you what to do when in cities. How long have you been as you are now?”

<CoraAnn> touches her finger to her nose. “Not it.”, she gets up and glances toward Erik, then the door. “I am gonna bail… see what Lynn has to say about Patty.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “You are going there anyway…” He smirks and then rises to his feet. “I’m just going to follow then since you don’t want to say.” He’d then go over to Izzy and would take out a few 20s, equaling up to 100 bucks. “Go get a cheap motel room while you wait. I expect payback someday.”

Izzy tilts her head considering “honestly I can’t remember really. A while now, but I can’t say for certain. I’m sure Boss tried to tell me what was proper, but I have trouble paying attention to the sorts of things that people do” Izzy shrugs her shoulders “I guess if you could give me a hint to whom I should announce myself to, I’d see it done. I know enough not to stay here too long without talking to the proper authorities,

I just don’t know who to seek.”

Izzy accepts the money but only because she knows she has to “I always pay my debts” she waves them bye and heads outside to the relatively fresher air.

<CoraAnn> thinks for a minute. “Don’t go see anybody yet… you get some leeway being Gangrel. I’ll see if we can reach Marge. She’s a Gangrel and can vouch for you that way.”

“kay” Izzy says over her shoulder as she and Blue head out. Izzy’s fine with not bothering with people anyway. “thanks again” she says just before she disappears around a corner.

■► Cassian ◄■ nods. “We know of you and will inform Lynn. For now, just come back here.” He agreed with Cora since right now there were well…issues. He’d wait for a bit and then head off with Cora to go see Lynn and then move off to go tell the Tremere just what was going on and to start research on the anarchs and gather up info.

<CoraAnn> sighs and frowns before looking over at Cassian. “Yeah, I totally wasn’t gonna tell her that Patrick got ashed by the Setites and their pet monster.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “We will deal with it tomorrow, but I want to talk to Zane and we need some info from Lynn. I don’t really want to get this girl caught up in things bigger than she is and in our way if that would happen. I’d rather see her end up with Marge and her like, rather than Samson.”

<CoraAnn> nods in agreement. “Yeah. I’ll leave Marge a message and se what else i can dig up. You be careful out there. I think they’d be too scared to go at you, but some of the others they might try.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Yeah, I will warn them about it and we’ll see how this goes. Stay safe too, Cora. If you need anything, let me know. We might not be partners anymore but we are friends and work for the same person.”
