<Zane Calbeni> sits in his usual horseshoe shaped booth near the back door, quietly reading a book with the occasional glance up and around at the bar.

■► Cassian ◄■ opened the door and walked into the trill. He’d glance around a moment, taking account of who was where and who was what and then he’d make his way over to Zane’s booth and gesture to the opposite side of it. “Mind if I sit and we talk some?”

<Zane Calbeni> leans back in his seat, and nods to Cassian. “Erik told me you were looking for me. Go ahead and sit.”

■► Cassian ◄■ slides into the opposite booth side. “Yes, I am. It concerns the anarchs.”

<Zane Calbeni> sets the book aside and looks to Cassian. “Yeah… some of the guys are pretty upset. I’ve talked most of them down, aside from the ones that believe Samson’s BS.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Can tell me how many around will side with Samson in his accusation, which is utter nonsense? Also, you have any idea where they would get this idea from that my Clan is responsible?”

<Zane Calbeni> frowns a little bit and nods. “As for numbers… I am not sure. Maybe twenty… luckily they can’t Embrace new ones, right? And uhm… that you might want to ask Sascha about. Sascha came asking me about Samson’s crew and I told her where to find him.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Sascha… so which Tremere did they say they supposedly saw?” He smirked slightly ruefully. Sascha was such a bitch sometimes. She got the Tremere good this time. He’d work with it though. After all, it was Samson that was trying to blow up Charity Hospital and obviously he needed to lose some explosives. “Also..can you tell me more of

what area they are in and about their security/features there? I’m going to explore it anyway, but he has some things he doesn’t need after this. If you can help me out here and clear out some of the anarchs that do not deserve to perish because Samson is as he is and will not be swayed, I’ll give you half the explosives and weapons I find.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “We can split monies too, since I’m sure he has other things of value.”

<Zane Calbeni> sighs and nods, sitting forward in his seat. “I don’t know. A woman, guessing Isabo. They might be on the move after that, but if not, then they are in a low income apartment complex with several families. They are basically holding them hostage, and using Presence and circumstance to keep them there even during the day. He claims to have access to something powerful

but i would have no idea what he means by that.”

■► Cassian ◄■ nods thoughtfully and taps his chin a moment in contemplation. “Alright. Freeing them of their circumstances or just scaring them away with no masq breaches will be that concern. You know anything else about these people? I’m sure we can find whatever it is Samson has eventually and then we can talk on what we will do about it. I am sure the

Tremere could probably deal with the Anarchs, but…I do have concern for the ones who are not going to back Samson on this and are actually alright. They’d be better working with you. I trust you and don’t want to needlessly kill anyone I don’t have to.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods. “That is easy. I can set up a Rave or something, big clan meeting… Samson never attends except to cause shit so the ones not directly under his thumb wouldn’t be around whevere they are holing up.”

■► Cassian ◄■ smirks with approval. “Yes, that is great then. It will work out nicely. There’s also some girl roaming around who is Gangrel. Her name is Izzy and she was apparently abandoned by her sire but Patrick picked her up… but well..basically I don’t want to see her end up with the anarchs right now as she would be put in harm’s way.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Cora is going to talk to Marge about helping her and I will mention something to Katarina.. but you might want to keep an eye out for her as we have told her to return here.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods and relaxes again. “I’ll keep an eye out. Look, you won’t get the humans out if it comes to a fight. I will bet they are blood bonded. I only agreed to tell Sascha the location because she swore they wouldn’t involve the humans there. She kept her word on that but I didn’t know she was going to use it to mess with you.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “She’s being facecious but I won’t say it doesn’t have its merit. She could leave the humans alone, but we really cannot and even if they are blood bonded, I’m thinking they will run away from some things instinctively or they can be trapped and held until it is over. If there are not too many that are an issue, we can dominate them ourselves,

or perhaps…that’s where you can help presence some, along with Cora.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “In the end, as long as none get away, we can deal with them and release them after their heads have been fixed. The blood bonds themselves won’t last if the perpetrators are dead.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods his head. “True. We will have to see what happens. If I am running a distraction of sorts then I won’t be able to assist in that manner.”

■► Cassian ◄■ nods. “This is true. I may..” he said softer, “Try to get someone else in with the help of one of the Anarchs. If she does manage to slip in, anything asked about a ‘natasha’ or whatever her ruse name is, if you are asked about her, should be that she’s a Ravnos.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods his head. “Okay. I will keep that in mind. If I hear anything about this secret weapon… I will let you know. All we know so far is it may be somethign aquired by raiding the snakes.”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Alright. I will see what we can find on our end and if it’s something that requires strategy change, I will let you know. We should be fine though even if we have to possess it and break it down ourselves.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods in agreement, though he remains obviously concerned. “We will do what we can do, and if that fails… we start over.”

■► Cassian ◄■ nods. “Thank you. Also, if you see Sascha again, tell her I send her I send her my regards from Clan Tremere.”

■► Cassian ◄■ smirked. “How are you doing?”

<Zane Calbeni> shakes his head. “Fuck that. I prefer to keep all my parts exactly as they are. Other than that I suppose I am fine. How goes trying to boss the wizard school around?”

Katie yawns as she walks into the Devil’s Trill, and heads straight to the bar to order a couple of beers before even bothering to look around.

■► Cassian ◄■ “She knows me. I’m sure she wouldn’t do anything to you. To me, that’s another story.” He laughs softly. “Hogwarts is going fine for now. They know what’s expected of them and they know how to work well together as long as there’s common goals. You know how it is with any of us, though our approaches as leaders has to be different.”

<Zane Calbeni> nods his head in agreement. “It’s kinda the same for the guys. If they have direction they are usually fine. But let them get bored and you get trouble.”, he waves to Katie as he sees her.

■► Cassian ◄■ “Yes, it just differs in how we have to give them direction and what trouble they will get into. Guaranteed though, there’d be trouble.” He smiles and then glances over at Katie, waving to her. “I’m going to head off for now, but thank you for the info and conversation, Zane. Have a good night and I’ll get back with you soon.”

Katie sees the movement and smiles as she sees Zane and Cassian, walking over to their table to sit. She sets the beers down and opens up the first to take a drink. “Hey guys. What’s up?”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Hello, Katie. I’d stick around but sadly I have work to do tonight. Be well, please.” He’d nod to her politely and move to the side of the booth to allow her to sit if she wanted.

Katie gives him a light hug as he passes. “Okay, no problem. I just needed a break myself. I’ll be over in the next few days to work on the fireproofing.”

<Zane Calbeni> smiles a little bit and picks his book back up again. “Breaks are good. Take care, Cass.”

Katie takes a few drinks of her beer and looks to Zane. “So whatcha reading?”

■► Cassian ◄■ “Ah, thank you. Be well, both of you.” He’d then head out to go cause mischief back at home.

<Zane Calbeni> waves to Cass and then looks over at Sissy, holding up the book a bit. “Philosophy.”

Katie smirks a little and slides into the booth. “Awesome. Anything else going on?”

<Zane Calbeni> shrugs his shoulders a bit. “The usual. Threats of imminent danger abound at all times.”

Katie laughs a little and finishes off the first beer. “I can understand that. Seems like a fact of life anymore.”

<Zane Calbeni> smirks. “Not always, it does have it’s calm moments.”

Katie nods and pops open the other beer. “Yeah… I guess so. I haven’t really seen it though.”

~*Ramirez*~ meanders into the Devil’s Trill and would head to the bar. He’d order a beer from Erik and look around at who was where.

<Zane Calbeni> raises a hand and waves at Ramirez, then looks to katie. “Maybe not right now, but you will. It can’t be this way all the time.”

~*Ramirez*~ waves back and heads over to the table. “Hey Zane and Katie. What’s happening?”

Katie smiles at Ramirez and waves. “Not a lot. I was taking a break from stuff and stopped by, we were just talking. What’re you up to?”

~*Ramirez*~ “Investigating Charity Hospital to see what can be done and well.. some other stuff. I’m bored right now though and spirited out.”

<Zane Calbeni> smirks a little at that. “Oh, well.. then I won’t ask you about the damn ghost haunting us here.”

~*Ramirez*~ “That’s different. Is there one?” He’d look around, his eyes slightly gleaming.

<Zane Calbeni> points upward. “Upstairs. Part of why we keep it locked off. You know the drill… we started renovating and next thing we know shit is getting thrown at us from something invisible.”

Katie chuckles a little bit. “I just… I mean… a bunch of vampires run off by a ghost?”

~*Ramirez*~ “When did this start happening? Next time call me, hombre. You know I’d help.”

<Zane Calbeni> shrugs his shoulders a little, glancing toward the back doors. “It was quiet for a while and left us alone. Now we can hardly go up there without stuff starting to move or it makes the room smell like blood to mess with us. It heated a doorknob and burned Kaitlyn’s hand pretty good. She was pissed.”

~*Ramirez*~ “Alright, I’ll go take a peek then. Is it unlocked?”

<Zane Calbeni> nods. “Well, we don’t lock it but the ghost does. Good luck with that.”

Katie finishes off the other beer and adjusts her goggles. “I’ll come with.”

~*Ramirez*~ laughs and then gets up and would head to the back doors and see if he could work his way up to see what an angry ghost was like.

Through the Employees Only area there is the actual back door, which is locked, and a staircase that leads up to the second floor. At the top of those stairs is a double door, which refuses to budge and smells of smoke.

~*Ramirez*~ reaches out to try to speak with the spirit. “Will you unlock the doors so I can talk to you or come to me?” If the spirit chose to ignore him though he reached out, he’d just come back with Hollow and Amy later and make it worse.

Katie follows Ramirez, but hangs back, watching through the filter for signs of trouble on the other side. There wasn’t much she could do to a spirit at the moment, but she could be an extra set of eyes at least. And have the semblance of backup.

There is no sound of the doors unlocking, but they do give way after a moment. The upstairs has two sides: Part of it looks olike it’s just being used for storage. Pool tables and the like are covered in sheets on that side. The other side is undergoing work and appears to be being turned into a meeting area of some sort perhaps.

~*Ramirez*~ tested the doors after a moment and would head up into the room, looking around and checking it out. It was clearly a storage place. He’d feel around and look about. “Thank you for letting me come in here. Can we talk now? Who are you? I am Ramirez..and this is Katie.”

Katie stands at the doorway and looks inside, trying not to get too creeped out by the sheets over stuff. At least there weren’t any mannequins.

There is the sense of a presence there somewhere, but somehow, it manages to hide itself, not coming out into the open.

~*Ramirez*~ walks through the area slowly to the center of the room. “I am a friend to spirits. I mean you no harm. Has someone hurt you?”

A young man flickers into view before disappearing again, his form tattered and resembling an old photograph that had been bleached out by the sun. His eyes are solid black, making his appearence slightly disturbing.

Katie remains quiet, glancing from the figure to Ramirez and trying not to look threatening. Which wasn’t too hard cause despite carrying a raygun, ghosts and spirits were still pretty creepy.

~*Ramirez*~ “Thank you for showing yourself. Is there someone here in particular that scares or angers you? The people downstairs don’t want to have an issue with you. You can tell us if someone harmed you. I’m here to help bridge the gap and speak for you if you wish and if someone fucked with you or someone you care about, maybe we can do something to make it

right.”

The boy reappears momentarily and points out the window, looking right at Ramirez before disappearing again without a word, his presence fading with him this time. As Ramirez and katie look out the window, they can see the clocktower just outside Charity Hospital.

Katie sighs. “Oh, joy. Our favorite place in the whole wide world.”

Katie gives one last look around before edging toward the door. “Uhm, well… kinda cryptic but hey, message gotten. Should probably leave you to uh, ghost things now.”, she says as she moves to head back down the stairs.

~*Ramirez*~ looks out the window and frowns slightly. “Yeah, I want to do more for that place but they fucked it up really good. It’s going to take time and well.. a lot of power to fix what they’ve done. We can never go back either to how it was…only reinvent it and make it something better when these vortexes are closed solidly.” He was angered by it.

Stupid David. :p “Boy..” He’d say to the spirit in the hopes it would catch it, even though he couldn’t sense it here right now. “I can help you at least to have somewhere to stay or if you wish to stay here, we can get a fetter to help you not be uncomfortable.”

All remians quiet, but the whole room takes on a more peaceful feeling. Zane offers his thanks in the form of free beer, and wishes Ramirez luck in figuring out what the ghost wants.

~*Ramirez*~ would make note of the clock tower and he’d tell Zane he was going to investigate it some and get back with Zane later. He’d then head off. ~
