°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° would wait for Kitt to attempt to revive the sleeping vampire, staying just inside the door.

Kitt had disappeared once inside, and after some time of the house being terribly silent, finally a door upstairs can be heard slowly creaking open.

<Zaluut> walks downstairs somewhat slowly, though he seems to glide more than walk as he moves into the hall at the bottom of the stairs.

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° would head into the hall. “Good evening, Zaluut. Would you wish to sit down?”

<Zaluut> nods as he moves into the study, taking one of the chairs off by the fireplace, which flares to life as he enters, along with the candles on each of the tables. “Hello, Talwar. It is good to see you. How goes your hunting?”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “It is going. I find things here or there.” He’d look around for Kitt and then walk over to a seat and settle into it.

<Zaluut> nods to him and then glances back. “I asked her to take care of some things so that we would have a chance to talk.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods in return, getting that Zaluut knew. He drew his attention back to Zaluut fully now, and he had not planned on Kitt overhearing, so all worked out in the end. “What would you like to discuss?” If Zaluut was going to tell him without him having to prompt…well this made life that much easier.

<Zaluut> sighs audibly, and leans back in his chair by the fire. “I know she is worried, but i do not intend to leave. Not with so much going on here. And she doesn’t have the experience to handle the spirits that reside in this place and the Communal.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “What is going on with the spirits in particular and with you? This is particularly wearing and I would be foolish to not notice. I know you will not leave us in such a time, but whatever is going on, it is particularly taxing to you, and perhaps we can find some alleviation to make it not so.”

<Zaluut> nods his head once in acknolwedgement more than agreement. “There is something present that tries to make the spirits resist my command, or corrupt them from under my power. Things have been wearing on me… many things, not all of it recent.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “The spectres grow in strength after what someone did recently in the Charity Hospital. I went to kill David, who is a traitor to both my order and to the Camarilla and Sabbat. He is an infernalist, but his body is no more. He is a wraith now, a spectre and the hospital has many problems now. David killed many of the homeless that could not flee

from him and the tempest rages there. Others are looking into solutions, but I fear that may be what contributes to this other issue. That and the demon is growing in power. Having said that…what is it you deal with otherwise? Does it have to do with this other Tzimisce line attacking you?”

<Zaluut> watches Talwar closely and then shakes his head. “No, but it is not that sort of spirit that troubles me either. I work with a different sort of spirit, though what you tell me is troubling. The attack on my blood was draining, and it may require more potent vitae to get myself back in order. At my age that can be both difficult and dangerous to find.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “What if Sascha and I go hunting and find you some suitable donors that can continue to be such for the time you need and then I can help you withdrawl when the time is right? If they are brought out here, no one needs to know of them.”

<Zaluut> looks at him, his expression worn and weary despite the every youthful appearance, he does now show his years in his eyes. “Very well. Normally I would refuse, but my options are limited. I cannot go to the Asylum, if they sense weakenss there will have to be a showing otherwise and no one wants that. And I cannot keep using Kitt as prey, despite her willingness to assist.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods. “We will set to it immediately.” He was glad Zaluut gave in and saw the point. Kitt could not be his only ‘donor’ and that was apparent. “Are you suffering from anything else though? I know you will not want to hear this, but those of us who are closest to you want you to be well and ready as best you can and if you cannot, I want

to know to get how to assist you best or cover for what we cannot reveal to others.”

<Zaluut> shakes his head softly and sits up in his chair a little straighter. “Not of which I am aware. I am tired, Talwar. I have seen two thousand years of battle and there is no end to it.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods. “It does seem there is no end.

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “If anything does arise that is out of the ordinary, will you inform me? I would bring up an idea of how to assist you more if there is some concern you do not wish to bring up, but you will not like it. If it comes down to losing you, however, it is something to think on.”

<Zaluut> nods once more. “There are many things I do not bring up, and many things I do not like, Talwar. I will hold this ground as my own. I will also still protect the Communal, though it needs me less than it did.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods. “I of course mean no disrespect. What is it you wish to see come out of all this?”

<Zaluut> relaxes back into his chair as the firelight dims a little in the room. “I wish to keep that which I care about safe.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Then I will do all I can to assist in this.”

<Zaluut> nods his head once. “Thank you. You have been a good friend, Talwar. And I hope that is something that remains true for a very long time to come.”

°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “I hope so as well. I feel the same toward you. It is seldom to meet honorable warriors in this day and age.”
