Chrys arrives at the Asylum gates with a small entourage in tow. She gets out of the car once they get parked, and takes a long look around. She though, is a loose term as Chrys is almost entirely androgynous. Possessing no definite traits either male or female.
<Ghost> looks up from where he is cleaning a couple of knives watching the new arrival, and those in company. He shakes his head softly, going back to his work in silence.
<Fiona> steps out of the asylum, her eye focusing on the new arrival as she crosses her arms across her chest, remaining silent until they come up to the door.
<Zaluut> makes his way to the Main Hall entrance, pausing at the doorway and taking a look around before his eyes fall onto Chrys. A soft growl stifles in the back of his throat, but he walks forward to the topmost step to look down on the newcomer.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° is not so far from Ghost, working on cleaning/sharpening his knives as well. He glances out at the gate and lofts a brow with some curiosity. He’d put away the knives, somewhere on his person, and then walk out to stand off to the side and a couple steps behind Zaluut to see the newcomer.
<Kitt Bishop> creeps up alongside Fiona, after shooting Zaluut a glance when he growls a little bit. “Uh oh. That is why I couldn’t believe there was another one nearby… they can like… sense each other.”
<Fiona> “Another Fiend? Sounds like this is gonna be fun.”
Chrys looks up the steps as she approaches the bottom one, eyes flitting over the others before focusing on Zaluut. “Why do I feel as though this is not a welcoming party?”, with a voice that is, like the body, neutral and undefined.
<Ghost> takes up his knives as well and follows Talwar, moving to be closer to the others as well and carefully watching those the newcomer brought along.
<Zaluut> narrows his gaze on the new one, arms folding over his chest. “You seem to have brought a lot with you, planning on just making yourself at home?”, while he tries to keep his tone civil, there is a sting to it. He is not pleased.
<Kitt Bishop> bites her lip and just stays off to the side, well out of the way in case it gets ugly. Or starts to get big, and scary. And toothy.
<Fiona> just continues to watch Chrys, her single slitted eye focused on him. “Don’t look at me.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° watched, devoid of any expression really. He has great resting bitch/asshole face as his eyes just follow Chrys and this entourage, checking them over, sizing them up.
Chrys raises an eyebrow. “I was under the impression that this was a communal property here. Or am I wrong on this matter? I don’t intend to take up permanent residence here.”, she says with almost a look of disgust at the building itself.
<Ghost> leans up against the wall and allows the shadows to creep up around him, crawling over him and heightening his more feral features as he remains in silence.
<Fiona> bristles as she sees the change in expression. “Got a problem with the building, do you?”
<Zaluut> watches Chrys as his skin ripples faintly in the places where it is exposed. “The building and grounds are a zone of safety for all of the Sword of Caine. But it is made such through my pact with the land here.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° ‘s eyes gleam a bit with amusement but that’s about the only thing that changes in his expression.
<Kitt Bishop> glances over but remains quiet, not about to get involved in some Tzimisce territorial crap.
Chrys narrows her eyes at Fiona a moment. “It is a bit old fashioned, seems weak in a few places. Home is often a reflection of it’s occupants.”
<Fiona> narrows her eye in return, her lips turning downward. “Did you fucking call me old-fashioned?”
<Ghost> does not point out to Fiona that weak in a few places might have been the worse insult. He remains silent though, watching the servants.
<Zaluut> glances to the group of them and the main gates. “You are welcome to find shelter elsewhere in the city. Perhaps a whorehouse would be more suited to your tastes?”
<Kitt Bishop> blinks, her jaw dropping just a little bit as she hears Zaluut.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Saw that coming, and it was earned”, he just had to comment after what Zaluut said.
<Fiona> looks to Zaluut, raising an eyebrow before her gaze moves back to the group.
Chrys growls, and then relents, lowering her head. “No. I mean no disrespect. May I remain here under your protection as well?”
<Zaluut> eyes her and the revenants and ghouls brought with her before finally nodding and taking a step down toward them, rolling up one sleeve. As he does, it’s revealed under his robes are hard plates, like large gray scales. He touches one on the inside of his arm and it melts into much softer, pale flesh. “You may.”, he answers and then holds out his arm to her.
<Kitt Bishop> watches, sliding around just a little bit so she can see better what is going on.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° watches the scene with some interest, moving more to the right.
<Ghost> tilts his head a bit, but as usual keeps still and silent.
<Fiona> just watches.
Chrys steps up to meet Zaluut halfway, not taking her eyes off him. She grabs his hand and without hesitation bites into the exposed flesh, though she might have decided not to use her fangs in the process. She tastes of his blood and then drops his hand, licking her lips when she steps back. “Thank you.”
<Zaluut> growls when she bites down, glaring at her when she pulls away. He runs a finger over the flesh and it seals, then raises up and hardens once more before he puts his sleeve back down. “You and your servants may take the far Eastern house, off the main hall. It has not been renovated, but you may do with it as you like.”
<Kitt Bishop> stays out of the way, though she eyes Chrys more carefully than before, her expression as near to anger as anyone may have ever seen on her.
<Fiona> just keeps her arms crossed, watching the new kindred in silence, her brow still furrowed.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° glances over at Kitt, watching her expression and surprised by it.
<Zaluut> turns and starts to walk back inside, casting his gaze over Kitt as he passes and he shakes his head at her before moving on into the Main Hall and eventually disappearing off toward the Library.
<Ghost> purses his lips as Zaluut leaves, and then glances toward Kitt with raised eyebrow. “Mad, or jealous?”
Chrys waits until Zaluut is out of sight before telling her people where to take everything. Then she walks all the way up the stairs, closer to the group. “Well, there are quite a few of you up here.”
<Fiona> “No shit.”
<Kitt Bishop> seems to be listening to something for a minute even after Zaluut leaves, and frowns to herself, looking like a chastized child. Then it turns to a glare as she looks over at Ghost.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods to Chrys. “Yes, there are.” He looks over at Fiona. “Calm down please. The situation is over.”
Chrys nods her head as she takes in more of those present. “Old fashioned S.O.B. isn’t he? So, despite the rough welcome… I am here to help if something needs done.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Who are you and what good are you to us that enables you to just talk of the host in such a manner?”
<Kitt Bishop> nods her head a little bit, returning to her usual friendly demeanor. She casts a glance sidelong at Talwar but remains quiet.
<Ghost> raises an eyebrow, still standing off to the side in the shadow of the building.
Chrys tilts her head as she regards the others, her primary focus on Talwar. “No need to get your panties in a wad. My name is Chrysalis, wish I was kidding… Human parents were fucking hippies. Chrys is fine though. Obviously, I’m Tzimisce… Hence the song and dance with the Lord of the House. As for what I’m good for. I doubt I have many skills that don’t overlap, yet.”
<Fiona> “Fucking seriously? I can’t blame you, then.”
<Kitt Bishop> looks thoughtful and then pipes up herself. “We actually haven’t exactly covered what our strengths were with each other, either. So that we can kind of maybe work to our strengths as it were the next time we work together.”, she says and half glances toward the others.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Obviously not old Tzimisce then”, he said with a smirk.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods to Kitt. “We should do this so we can get an idea of our skills and not step over each other. The last mission had some things that could be improved upon.”
<Ghost> glances over at Kitt, then Talwar and nods in agreement. “I’m Ventrue, but I specialize in stealth. I usually get in, watch, and get out. Being tough and able to crowd control emotions helps for the rare times I am spotted.”
Chrys nods as well, looking to the others. “I can of course adjust my appearence, but my primary focus has been Animalism. Oh, and I breed hellhounds.”
<Kitt Bishop> lifts her head, glancing between the others before speaking up. “I have some psychic ability, and I can remove pain from an individual or put them to sleep… and I can make my skin like an electric eel… and I know some rituals. And I am resiliant to damage too, even fire. But I’ve never had any training with weapons really.”
<Ghost> raises an eyebrow at Kitt. “Like, you can zap people that touch you? I have never heard of that before.”
<Kitt Bishop> nods her head a little in agreement. “Uh huh. I can focus it to my hands and use it to attack too. But it means getting up close… though it works great on machines.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “I can do stealth missions, breaking and entering, martial combat whether armed or not, and I can silence areas and add manipulate shadows some, and I’m a decent shot with rifles and such. I have been trained in military tactics and assassination.”
Chrys listens and then nods. “Well perhaps we do not overlap as much as I first thought. Spice of life, eh?”
<Ghost> glances over at Talwar and nods his head a bit. “Trained assassin I am not, I am more tuned for scouting and guarding.”, his gaze then passes to Fiona curiously.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “I’m sure we will benefit one another with how we use stealth.” * Nods to Ghost.
<Kitt Bishop> tilts her head and then smiles, returning to her usual friendly demeanor. “I think we all compliment each other pretty well.”
<Fiona> “Maybe. As for what I can do, it’s beat on people and build robots.
<Ghost> nods. “So, since she put you in charge of this mission, what do you want our next move to be?” He looks back over at Talwar.
Chrys perks up a little at the mention of a mission. She gives a nods toward Fiona. “Can totally respect some beat-ass. Have you ever looked into cyborgs?”
<Fiona> “Once or twice.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Well, for one thing, we have a map of our domain…telling of supposed points of weakness or what not. We should tend to these if we can in our spare time. We also still have more bunkers to clear, I believe, but hopefully now that we know more of each other, we will do a better job of using stealth when we can, attacking in unison better and well, if we find things that can be potentially useful, we let people that semi-at least know what they are doing say or do something. We may want to practice on some military signs as well that we can use when I put silence around us.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “That way we know the plan. No one will hear us -but- we can’t hear one another either. We can hear things outside of the area effected though.”
Chrys nods. “I have been considering trying to wire up some small ghouls and hounds so that they double as security cameras. Maybe you could assist with that?”
<Fiona> “Sure thing.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “That could be quite useful.”
<Kitt Bishop> nods, listening. “That sounds like a good idea. Practice in general, together, couldn’t hurt. I think a lot of it is that we aren’t used to each other, blood or not, most of us hadn’t worked together before the other night. It’s why we play games and stuff, honing skills as a group.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Yes, I do think playing some strat games would do nicely, since we have a solid range of skills and if we lack too much in some area, we can train each other.”
<Ghost> listens and nods softly in agreement. “I do actually know sign language. Wouldn;t be hard to teach everyone the important ones.”
Chrys nods. “Excellent. I will begin drawing up some ideas as soon as I am settled in. So tomorrow or so. I will send a couple of my guys out for strays to work on and we’ll go from there.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Good. Maybe we can work together and make our own group sign language then so people won’t be able to translate it easily in case we are played in some manner.”
<Kitt Bishop> looks between them once more and then nods. “I am currently learning a ritual that will assist with stealth. It’ll allow me to hide those of us that don’t have the ability to obfuscate as if we had that.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “That is a great idea, Kitt.”
<Ghost> listens a moment longer before starting to head inside, bowing his head to the others. “I need to go check on some things, but I am up for practice whenever. Goodnight.”
<Fiona> gives him an absent-minded wave.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Good night, Ghost.”
Chrys nods. “Nice meeting you.”
<Kitt Bishop> nods in response to Ghost, smiling a bit and then looking back toward the others. “Well, if you give me an idea of what you think would be good game-wise… I’ll see about getting it all set up. We could even play against some of the other Packs. I know they do capture the flag quite a bit and such.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “So, where are you from, Chrys?”
Chrys looks over at Talwar. “Canada. Montreal actually… Spent some time with the Widows.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “the Widows?”
<Kitt Bishop> coughs. “Oh.”, she blinks. “Well, that explains a lot.”
Chrys eyes Kitt briefly before looking back at Talwar. “Yes. A Pack there in that city. They run a Whorehouse.”
<Kitt Bishop> looks just a little bit off to one side. “So… you’re a Catharist?”
Chrys smirks as she nods. “Yeah. Like my Sire was as well. I am guessing that the old guy knows her, given his reaction too.”
<Fiona> “Ah. No wonder.”
<Kitt Bishop> looks thoughtful for a moment. “Oh, yeah… there is another Tzimisce here too. Sascha, and she spends a lot of time up in Montreal.”
Chrys looks thoughtful as well, thinking about the name. “Oh God. Redhead, kinda preachy?”
<Fiona> “Bingo. You got her pegged. Loooooooooooves her vegetables.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° smirks slightly as it all becomes clear. The old Tzimisce had made a funny!
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “There is likely an enemy Tzimisce and Lasombra as well that we are looking out for that has to do with the bunkers. We have not identified them yet though.”
Chrys smirks a bit and nods. “I remember her. She lives here? Man I really must have pissed my Sire off to get sent down here.” She looks over at Talwar. “With the balls to come within a hundred miles of that old ass motherfucker in there?”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “We found evidence that there was likely a Tzimisce here. A basin with soot. We need to go back and get some of that if it hasn’t been acquired yet.”
<Kitt Bishop> nods her head slightly. “Actually, you might be able to help confirm that.”, she says as she glances back toward the main building.
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Alright. Is it here then?”
Chrys makes a bit of a face at that. “Well, yeah. If you have where another is sleeping, I might be able to tell. Maybe. I think. I’ve never been into the whole mysticism thing though.”
<Kitt Bishop> glanes to Talwar and shakes her head. “No, if we did then Zaluut would know for sure… I meant the next time we go out… if Chrys comes with us then that might help.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Right then. Hopefully, you will be there. We are going to likely go there first before we move on to the other spots so we can collect what we can.”
Chrys looks at them and nods. “As much as I like sitting on my ass, I am not useless. You know where I am staying. If you want my help, I’m game.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° “Good. Have a good night.”
<Kitt Bishop> nods and then starts to head inside the main hall. “Goodnight. See you guys soon.”
<Fiona> “Later, kiddo.”
°¥ Talwar Khanna ¥° nods. “Have a good night Kitt and Fiona as well.” * he waves and then heads off to go work on stealth some more.
Chrys nods to the group in general and then heads off to make sure her servants have her stuff properly unpacked.
<Fiona> looks to Talwar, then shrugs and heads inside.
